Recently, we reported on ttxs preparation of oros a linked monodisperse polystyrene (PS) beads prepared by emulsion polymerization in the absence of emulsifier, and the mechanical properties of filled polymers consisting of polymer beads In a SBE matrix.1 It wan found that the beads arosslinked with 10 mol % DVB at BO'C were uniformly formed in the early stage of the reaotion and gradually grown with the reaction time, but that the PS beads with a diameter greater than Iib was not able to obtain in a single stage reaotion.
