The pre-stretching step generates a stepwise improvement of the film elastic behavior,provided that the first elongation goes beyond the film yield point(Fig 16).There are a number of technologies for stretching polyolefin films,so that the application doors are open for elastic Softell films.The unique composition and molecular structure of the Softell supersupersoft products makes them very suitable for filler and additive loading up to very high concentrations,while maintaining an excellent balance of mechanical properties.This is demonstrated in Fig.17 in case of Softell Q020F blown films modified with 15 or 50% calcium carbonate by compounding.
