KuibyshevAzot (Togliatti / Russia; www.kuazot.ru) has received significant state subsidies to raise its PA 6 output by 58,000 t/y. The expansion, which comes at an estimated price tag of RUB 1.6 bn (about EUR 18.7m), is expected to be brought on stream in HI 2016. Deemed as a key project for the country's civil industry, Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade will provide subsidies for the loans Kuibyshev Azot will have to take to make the addition a reality.
