Thermoplastics consumption grows in 2006/Production down/Imports from Middle East

After a period of stagnation in 2005-the first time after 15 years of uninterrupted growth-thermoplastics consumption in Italy increased significantly last year.The country is the second largest European plastics market after Germany and additionally benefited from healthy economic development in the euro zone,underlined by the 10% increase in turnover in 2006 recently announced by German plastics processors.
