Singapore-Surging freight costs have caused the arbitrage window to narrow for benzene shipped from Asia to the US,industry sources said Feb 8.Arbitrage economics from Korea to the US have started to appear increasingly unattractive since freight rates have climbed to 80-90/mt,because of tight availability of vessel space for cargoes loading in the second half of February or the first half of March.
