Child-resistant packaging will be extended

On October 17, the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission voted unanimously to require child-resistant packaging for household products which contain 10% or more hydrocarbons by weight and have a low (watery) viscosity. Higher viscosity products are considered less likely to be aspirated. The requirement becomes effective in 12 months.
