Improper installation and malfunctions lead to system problems and failures. Many pump and valve system problems are caused by incorrect applications and operation. But even if those are not the reason for premature failure, improperly installed or malfunctioning mechanical seals, lip seals, oil seals and/or O-rings are often to blame.
