Congress passes bill to block privatization at petroperu

Amid strike threats from state oil workers,Peru's Congress late may 26 approved a bill of law to block any further privatization of state Petroperu's assets.With no prior debate,the 120-member Congress voted 78 in faor,21 against,plus 10 abstentions.
