Gulf of Mexico independent producer Spinnaker Exploration Mar 29 lowered by 6% its production estimate for the first quarter to 10.3 Bcfe of natural gas from an earlier target of 11 Bcfe,as pipeline repair work and bad weather caused two wells to be shut in for about seven weeks and slowed new projects.The anticipated lower output volume for the quarter stems from pipeline repair in the Brazos area of the Texas offshore Continental Shelf,which took longer than expected,coupled with Gulf of Mexico weather delays from high winds and choppy water,a Spinnaker spokesman said.
