PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable outputting of a film to a print size of A1 by automatically deciding a combination of a right and a left A2 space.;SOLUTION: The device for outputting a cut-to-size film for making a newspaper space comprises a right and left information retrieval means 21 for retrieving a combination of a right and a left space of one set of newspaper during printing, an A1 size output information generating means 22 which generates output information for an A1 size space according to a combination of the right and left spaces retrieved by the right and left information retrieval means 21 and a means for retrieving the output possibilities to the A2 size space which retrieves whether an output to the A2 size space of the right and left space combined by the right and left information retrieval means 21 can be executed. When the output to the A2 size space can be executed by a means for retrieving the output possibilities to the A2 size space, an A1 output execution means is made to output an A1 film for making a newspaper space through an output means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
