May's ANS liquids output climbs above 1-mil b/d

Alaska North Slope crude and natural gas liquids output rose by about 18,000 b/d in May to 1.007-mil b/d despite significant disruptions at various times during the month, including a sizable liquids spill at Prudhoe Bay field. The ANS oil and NGLs May output was up nearly 2% from 989,000 b/d in April, but fell short of the year-ago average of 1.022-mil b/d.
