The above Committee held sittings at Bangaluru on the 1st December, and at Kochi on the 2nd December 2008 and listened to the views and suggestions of UPASI, KPA, APR, and PAT on the amendments proposed to the Plantations Labour Act. Pursuant to these discussions UPASI submitted a comprehensive memorandum to the Standing Committee taking the views of all the Associations. The following are the comments submitted to the Committee.
