摘要

A comprehensive kinetic model of hydrate formation on the surface of a CO2 droplet in high-pressure, low-temperature water is developed. The model predicts that the hydrate layer formed is very thin and that the formation time is less than two seconds. These predictions are consistent with experimental observations. The mechanism of CO2 hydrate formation also is discussed. [References: 15]
