Businesses in the water markets in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) are starting to pick up, Xylem EMEA President Andre Dhawan says. The global giant is embarking on a strategic change to accommodate changes in buying trends by clients with increasingly integrated water and wastewater operations. Interviewed by World Water at IFAT 2014 Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management on May 6, Dhawan shared his insights on current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the EMEA water business. With headquarters in Rye Brook, New York, the US company is a leading global water technology provider with 2013 revenues of US$3.8 billion. The EMEA region provides a sizeable share of business with US$1.5 billion in sales last year.
