GQM-163 Coyote SSST/GQM-173 MSST

The SSST (Supersonic Sea Skimming Target) is an unmanned aerial vehicle designed to test and evaluate US Navy anti-air warfare systems and to train personnel to defend against low-altitude supersonic antiship missiles. It was developed to replace the AQM-127 Supersonic Low Altitude Target (SLAT) which was terminated in FY92 because of technical difficulties.
