Ethiopia Tannery Share Company is located 90 kilometres south of Addis Ababa. The site covers 65 hectares, and the tannery is positioned approximately 2.5 kilometres from Lake Koka, a source of water and electrical power. Production commenced in 1975, and Pittards assumed management control of the tannery in August 2005.
