Hungarian-Korean Patent Prosecution Highway to Commence in 2013

The Hungarian Intellectual Property Office ("HIPO") has signed a memorandum of understanding ("MoU") with the Korean Intellectual Property Office ("KIPO") for bilateral cooperation on work sharing under a patent prosecution highway (PPH) program on October 2. The MoU establishes a PPH pilot program between the two offices. It will cover patent applications that are filed with both HIPO and KIPO.
