Converse Wins Ruling Blocking Imports of Some Skechers Sneakers

Nike Inc.'s Converse won an order that will prevent imports of sneakers that copy certain features of the iconic Chuck Taylor sneakers (In the Matter of Certain Footwear Products, Int'l Trade, No. 337-936, 6/23/2016). Skechers U.S.A. Inc., New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. infringe trademarks owned by Converse, the U.S. International Trade Commission said.
