France-based beverages firm Pernod Ricard has followed Diageonin posting a strong set of results for its latest fiscal year. In the 12nmonths to the end of June, the firm registered net sales growth ofn7%, while net profits increased by 9%. The firm has described thenperformance as its best rate of growth since 2007/2008, with salesnbolstered by rapidly growing demand in Asia and Eastern Europe,nand a steady performance in the Americas and Northern Europe.nThis helped to offset a weak performance in Southern Europe.
