A Clearer Picture of Australia's Water Resources

A new system to improve the collection and processing of water resource data from around Australia has been developed by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology. Developed jointly by the two organisations, the Water Data Transfer Format (WDTF) streamlines the collection and use of 6 million data files, provided by more than 200 organisations, enabling the Bureau to produce a clearer picture of Australia's water resources.
