This year's Wasser Berlin trade fair took place 23-26 April, covering developments and innovations across monitoring, treatment, flood protection, pumps, pipes and more. Pump manufacturer Grundfos was exhibiting the first in a new generation of IE4 asynchronous motors for use in Grundfos Blueflux pumps, which, says Grundfos' Communication and PR officer Dirk Schmitz, brings together motors and frequency converters that are more efficient than the IE4 premium efficiency standard. Grundfos was also showing its compact pump control station, which is available as a complete building package.'This is something that is developing rapidly in Germany,'says Schmitz,'not just delivering pumps, but full solutions.'
