Guyana vote row concern

CROWDS thronging around ballot boxes to demand or oppose a recount were this week adding to Guyana's difficulties in dealing with the Covid-19 virus outbreak, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) representative working in the country. Large groups have reportedly been gathering outside a Georgetown office of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), where representatives of political parties and police officers have been guarding containers with ballots boxes.
