A recount of all votes cast in Guyana's 2 March election is proceeding slowly amid growing attacks on the credibility of the process by members of the incumbent administration. The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has been recounting votes after ballot boxes were brought to the Arthur Chung Conference Centre in Georgetown but, six days after the start of counting, only 11% of the 233 ballot boxes had been processed.
