摘要

During the 10th Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Showcase (UUVS) Conference held in Southampton, UK (23-24 September 2008), a special session on Navigation, Guidance and Control (NGC) of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) was organised. The session consisted of four presentations by leading mternationally recognised academics. The event was designed to have a broad appeal to both the industrial and academic communities, with the aim of promoting novel applications of advanced control systems engineering in the field of underwater vehicle technology.
