Next procurement stage reached for Thames Tunnel

Great Britain The next phase of procurement for the main construction works contracts for London's 25km long Thames Tideway Tunnel has been reached as the invitation to tender was sent out for the second works package, Thames Water announced mid-January. Thames Water sent out the invitation to tender for the East package of work to construct the tunnel on the 14 January 2015, with the final bidders expected to be announced in May next year.
