Selected papers from the 16th ATRS World Conference, Tainan, Taiwan, 2012

摘要

The Air Transport Research Society (ATRS), a special interest group of the World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS), held its 16th World Conference in Tainan from 27 to 30th of June. The event attracted some 248 participants, engaged in discussion on 193 paper presentations. Eight papers have been chosen for this Special Issue of Transportation Research A based on the results of a double-blind reviewing process and one or more revisions. The first two papers deal with the implications of high speed rail for air transport. The next three papers cover airports from various perspectives and then two papers discuss airline service quality, with the last paper covering integrated air cargo firms.
