New course boost for SOEHKR Engineer's diploma confirms ability

Roddy Mackenzie and Mark Organ, of SOE's Membership & Professional Standards (MPS) Committee, recently accredited the Diploma in Automotive Engineering provided by Hong Kong's West Coast College.rnDemanding over 1,000 hours of study, the course will give students' engineering expertise greater context, whilst providing official recognition of their competence. Forty students are set to begin the course in June, which the IRTE consider compatible with the EngTech status.rnRoddy said: This course has once again proven how serious our Hong Kong colleagues are at developing their profession. It will set the standard for EngTechs in the region.'
