Stuart Hunt has decided to retire early from his post as managing director of the Daf Trucks sales and marketing operation in the UK. He is tornleave the Paccar subsidiary at the end of next month. Mr Hunt's successor is Ray Ashworth, promoted from commercial operations director.rnMr Hunt, 58, started his truck industry career with Leyland Trucks in 1977. When Leyland Daf was formed ten years later, following the British government's sale of Leyland Trucks to Daf of the Netherlands, Mr Hunt stayed with the company, working in sales and marketing. Daf and its Leyland Daf subsidiary crashed into receivership early in 1993, but a new Daf Trucks then emerged from the ashes.
