Port Augusta Bus Service

The town of Port Augusta is located at the head of Spencer Gulf in South Australia and has always been a major rail centre and was a major port before the standard gauge railway was extended east and connected through to Sydney and Melbourne as well as west to Perth. The junction with the Trans Australian Railway for the Darwin line is at Tarcoola while the Whyalla line junction is at Port Augusta. The main transcontinental roads also pass through Port Augusta.
