Mexico is proving to be a big draw for manufacturing operations

Mexico has become one of the most attractive countries for some of the largest companies in the world to locate their manufacturing operations, making it one of the fastest-growing trade finance hubs. Several industry leaders have moved large portions of their manufacturing to Mexico as a combination of factors - a weak real exchange rate, relatively cheap and skilled labour, good transportation links and an attractive investment environment -have sparked growth in the country. For the past two decades, China and other Asian nations have been turning heads with cheap labour and incentives to relocate. But, as these costs escalate, an abundance of Mexican workers has been proving an equally enticing option.
