摘要

The main purpose of this empirical research is to validate and verify therntransformational leadership sand cone model, a decision-making modelrncovering essential behaviours for transformational leaders, fromrnresource allocations to the direction of outcomes. By usingrntransformational leadership indexes and the Analytic Hierarchy Processbasedrnquestionnaire as well as a descriptive research approach, wernmeasure the effectiveness of transformational leadership for 86 leadersrnlocated in 21 different geographical zones around the world. Thernresults provide an effective measuring method and also a quantitativernresult that may provide the organisation a new insight into developingrntraining programmes for global leaders. The model can be used as arndirect guideline for leaders to follow and improve theirrntransformational leadership skills. It can also be used for recruitment,rnselection or promotion purposes. Moreover, the model can be utilisedrnas an aid in developing sustainable careers for global leaders.
