摘要

The results of thermochemical analysis of 2,4,5-trimethylbenzoic acid synthesis by 1,2,4,5-tetramethylbenzene oxidation with aqueous nitric acid solutions in the concentration range from 32.5 to 59.0 wt % are reported. Synthesis conditions have been chosen on the basis of the thermochemical data obtained, and their appropriateness has been verified experimentally. These conditions are suggested for developing a new 2,4,5-trimethylbenzoic acid synthesis process.
