Synthesis and Posttreatment Research of 2,4,6-Trimethylbenzoic Acid

摘要

As one of the main processed products of C9 aromatic by-products, 2,4,6-Trimethylbenzoic acid was synthesized by one-step method in this article, and this article focuses on the post-treatment technology of the product. The result shows that the yield is 97% and the purity above 99% when the carboxylic product is dealt with by ice water and crude product by alkali solution.
