Analyses were made on spur-grown perennial woody parts and annual shoots of cvs Bolgar and Mavrud. Material was taken from the 5-6 node region of the canopy and the top part (9-10 node). The ocntents of pb, Cu, Zn and Cd were determined in the bark, bast, wood, core and diaphragm of shoots. The highest heavy metal content in both annual shoots and perennial parts of grapevines was established in the dead bark. The Second conducting zone for deposition of lager heavy metal amounts was the bast tissue.
