The trial was carried out in the period 2015-2016 at the Institute of Viticulture and Enology, Pleven during the production of vine propagation material. The traditionally grown cultivar 'Bolgar' [Vitis vinifera) in the Balkan Peninsula revealed an increased susceptibility to the herbicide Lumax 538 SC (375 g L1 s-metolachlor + 125 g L1 terbuthylazine + 337.5 g L1 mesotrionej. The leaves were sprayed three times with Atonic Growth Stimulator at a dose of 0.6 L ha1 for enhancing the overcoming of thephytotoxic effect during the vegetation. The treatment resulted in an increase in the quantity and quality of the obtained propagation material. The yield of standard rooted vines went up on the average by 19.9%. The mature growth of the vines at the endof the vegetation season had longer length and mass compared to the yield from the plots not treated with the stimulator. The application of Atonic increased the shoots' diameter and enhanced the formation of a great number of roots with a thickness ofover 2 mm.
