MSFeFaD3 is a measuring system for aligning track and switches that combines absolute and relative measurement methods. This combination ensures that the required standards of accuracy of internal and external track geometry are adhered to. The system was first used in the construction of slab track on an approximately 32.5 km long section of the new Erfurt-Leipzig/Halle line.
