Study on the optimum fertilizer rates on yield and quality of three long cayenne peppers (Capsicum annuum L.)

The study was carried out between 22 October 1996 and 11 April 1997, at Lampang Agricultural Research and Training Center. Split plot design was used with treatments of ten fertilizer rates as main- plot and three long cayenne peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) as subplot. The objectives were :1) to compare yield and yield components of,2) to find out the optimum fertilizer rates for, and 3) to find out the quantity and quality of oleoresin, capsaicin and color from three long cayenne peppers, which affected by fertilizer rates.
