Duke Energy to remotely monitor first U.S. offshore wind farm

In a relatively new business for the utility giant that is fast gaining momentum, Duke Energy Renewables said Wednesday that it will perform remote monitoring and control services for the first offshore wind project in the United States, Deepwater Wind’s Block Island wind farm off the coast of Rhode Island.
