Two of the three inquiries set up to investigate the climategate affair have reported. They clear Climatic Research Unit staff of malpractice in its use of data from tree rings and other sources, reasserting that global warming is real and accelerating.rnResearchers at the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit (CRU) have been cleared of scientific malpractice and dishonesty in a review of their published work, led by former Shell chairman Ronald Oxburgh.
