This refurbishment of Enfield Business Centre for Enfield Council was financed by the Mayor's Outer London Fund Round Two. The architect worked closely with stakeholder groups including thecouncil, local businesses and existing tenants, to nurture a brief which rebranded the centre as a new hub for enterprise within the borough. Key aims included the creation of new flexible meeting, reception and event space; a hot-desking area to support new local businesses; creation of a welcoming and inspiring environment for visitors and occupants of the building; improved accessibility; and a visibility from the street, which increases awareness of the centre's presence.
