Starch Fibers: Processing and Characteristics

摘要

Two methods for producing fibers from high amylose corn starch are presented, and the physical and chemical characteristics of fibers made following both methods are detailed. These characteristics are described in relation to the process used to convert the raw material into fiber and in relation to the raw material properties.
