Overcoming modern inefficiencies

Digitalisation is not the same as digital transformation, says Colin Marks, CEO at Discover e-Solutions (DeSL), a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions. Historically, fashion and apparel industries were happy to work with digitised tools such as spreadsheets, PDFs and email communication. But this is not true digital transformation – it remains a manual, siloed, inefficient way to manage product development, and it mirrors archaic, analogue ways of working.
