Kirin Winter Tea

With Japan moving into the colder months, Kirin Beverage has added to its huge-selling teas portfolio by offering a line-up of five RTD teas designed to be served hot. Three of these are in the popular 'afternoon tea' grouping, each featuring a sort of tartan plaid wrap with the former Duchess of Bedford - the brand heroine who is almost as familiar in Japan as the current Duchess of Cambridge - acting as a sort of heirloom brooch. The line-up includes Straight Tea, Lemon Tea and Milk Tea. Other new releases in this category are hot and no-sugar teas based on the stem tea concept which delivers a mellow sweetness. This type of tea is often known in Japan as 'wild goose'.
