The company pushing for a coal export terminal in Washington laid off 15% of its employees, according to The Daily News of Longview, Wash. Millennium Bulk Terminals-Longview LLC which has been battling state officials to move forward on a facility that would link western coal producers to Asian markets, confirmed the cuts Nov. 14, according to the newspaper. Senior Vice President of Business Development Peter Bennett was among those laid off.
