摘要

We incorporated diaminopurine in the tetraphenylethene derivatives (TPE-NH_2 and TPE-OH) and developed an indicator-displacement strategy for DNA detection by base pairing. To realize the detection in water solutions, phenol red was added to form chemo-sensing ensemble with TPE-NH_2, and the background fluorescence was decreased significantly. Moreover, this chemo-ensemble could selectively detect poly deoxyadenylic acid over other polynucleotides. This strategy can be used for decreasing the background fluorescence and increasing the selectivity. We believe that our work may aid the design of other highly sensitive and selective nucleic acid probes.
