Ceramic Heaters for Die Bonding Processes

Using a finite element model, an aluminum nitride (AIN) heater was developed that meets the aggressive requirements of semiconductor die bonding and IC testing applications. Several trends and new requirements are impacting wafer processing and the manufacturing of semiconductor equipment components, such as heaters.
