Accessible Transport and Vehicles for Barrier-free Mobility

Under the condition that population of aged people is increasing in very high rate, and request of society participation of disabled people is reinforced, mobility of such people will be more important in their life style. Automobile and its technology will be thought to make major contribution to it. On this background, JSAE started the discussion on accessible transport and its safety technology in the name of "Barrier-free Mobility" at GIA forum. In this article, the author categorize the "B-f M" into six sub-items, and show present status and future target of them.
