It has been well established that innovation in business and industry drives America's engine of economic growth and leads to job creation, heightened productivity, and economic expansion. The innovation landscape of America is shaped by two interconnected subsections of our society: its workforce and its business environment. High-quality academic research and well-trained graduates are the cornerstones of our innovation infrastructure, representing the current and future workforce of our nation, and reasonable taxation and regulation policies are the mechanisms that allow business and industry to maintain healthy growth.
