ESOLAR STRIKES 1.5 GW IN CSP DEALS

Modular solar thermal power plant developer eSolar has struck a deal that will see up to 1000 MW of concentrating solar stations developed in India over the next decade.rneSolar's first international licensing agreement will see ACME build, own and operate solar thermal plants in India using eSolar's design. ACME has already signed power purchase MOUs (Memoranda of Understanding) for 250 MW, and construction will start later this year on the first 100 MW.rnUnder the terms of the exclusive licensing agreement ACME Group will make a US$30 million equity investment in eSolar.
