A majority overestimated their skills. The ability to self-assess reading skills among boys and girls seems to depend on how they are asked. There was only a small difference in favor of older students when students in Grades 3 and 8 were compared.View full textDownload full textRelated var addthis_config = { ui_cobrand: "Taylor & Francis Online", services_compact: "citeulike, netvibes, twitter, technorati, delicious, linkedin, facebook, stumbleupon, digg, google, more", pubid: "ra-4dff56cd6bb1830b" }; Add to shortlist Link Permalink http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/02702711003608279
